Light Up Powhatan is an Independence Day celebration featuring live music, food trucks, and family-friendly games, all capped off by a spectacular fireworks show to celebrate Virginia's 250th anniversary! Join us Saturday, July 4, from 6:30-10 PM at the Fighting Creek Park sports fields in the Village of Powhatan for an evening of live music, food, fun, and community spirit!

Event Schedule 

Cody Christian - 6:30-7:30 PM

Inside Out Band - 8:00 to Finale (Band to continue after fireworks until 10 PM)

Fireworks Show - Dusk (Estimated 9:15 PM)

Time: Parking opens at 5:30 PM, Music starts at 6:30 PM, Fireworks at Dusk (~9:15PM). 

Parking: Paid parking will be available on a limited basis in Fighting Creek Park through pre-purchased tickets. Please plan ahead, as road closures will be in effect. To purchase tickets, click here.
