Once upon a Christmas season in the sleepy village of Powhatan, Virginia... A group of boys and girls traded golden tickets for an empty passport card and the promise of an unforgettable journey - One Wanderful Christmas - a Children's Holiday Pop-Up Event!
Our guests will "wander" through Christmas-themed "destinations" where they will meet magical characters, enjoy festive treats and sips, create a holiday craft to take home, and be reminded of the true meaning of the holiday season. Somewhereness is used to describe 'the state or quality of being in and belonging to a specific place'. We chose this as the name for our late-fall beer festival as we will focus on the creations from Virginia's Fields and Forests. All beer, wine, & cider featured at this festival will have the majority of its ingredients from Virginia.

Powhatan Village's Farmer's Market is hosting the 3rd Annual Holiday Market on Friday, December 12th from 4:00pm - 7:00pm at the Parks and Recreation Department, located at the Pocahontas Landmark Center, 4290 Anderson Hwy, Powhatan, VA 23139.
Food trucks including River City Wood Fired Pizza, Cocina Calle & Sippin' Spot, live music, over 30 vendors selling artisan crafts, baked goods, candies, meats, and more!

A Country Polar Express at Quarterfield Markets
Experience the magic of a Country Polar Express. Based on the experience recounted in the Caldecott classic, “The Polar Express” by Chris Van Allsburg, come out to enjoy a night to remember - country style! Each experience lasts approximately 90 minutes and will include a reading of the story and a hayride to Santa’s workshop (aka The Markets) to visit with Santa and time to shop. Each participant will also receive a cookie, hot cocoa and sleigh bell ornament. Bring your camera or phone for pictures with Santa. We encourage flashlights - it’s DARK! PJs and festive attire are welcomed, but remember to layer up for the ride!

Christkindl Markets are a traditional German experience, hosted outdoors in the cold of winter to showcase local artisans and crafters. We'll have hot drinks available to keep you warm. The barnyard will be open all week as well.

We will be hosting our second Santa Brunch on Sunday December 7th from 11:00am- 2:00pm. Tickets are available on our online store. Be sure to select the right quantity, and toggle adult vs. child as necessary.
Buffet Menu details coming soon. Fine Creek Provisions Coffee will be available at the brewery, and is included in ticket cost.
Open seating for this event. Santa will be making an appearance.
Pre-purchased tickets available with a discount (and you can get your bracelet upon arrival). Tickets can be purchased the day-of as well. Pre-purchase not required, but is recommended.
Tabs can be opened at the taproom bar or outdoor bar, for additional drinks. Mimosas will be available by the bottle. Taproom will be operating as normal the day of the brunch; with hours shifted to 11am- 6pm.
