Powhatan’s rural landscape and close proximity to Richmond provide an excellent backdrop for films and shows of all varieties. State Farm grounds provide a permanent backdrop for the Virginia Film office to create sets and film some of todays best pictures. Powhatan is the perfect place for filming with access to the James River and various existing film sets.
